We have introduced improvements to our network of local pick up points across eastern, central and southern England, aimed at shortening your journey times and getting you away on holiday more easily and conveniently, meaning an altogether more relaxing start. We now have two pick up regions so your travel days will be more convenient, providing more efficient journeys, meeting your tour manager and fellow travellers earlier and in most cases arriving in resort earlier.

The Tour Ref on the holiday itinerary indicates whether the tour departs from Region A or Region B by having either an A or B at the end.

Traveling from Departure Area A: Our Departure Area A covers most of East Anglia, the East Midlands and the northern Home Counties. UK Holidays of 5 days duration or less join your tour coach at our interchange area at Northampton Services on the M1, junction 15A.

Travelling from Departure Area B: Our Departure Area B covers most of the South East, Greater London, Southern Home Counties and South Essex. UK Holidays of 5 days duration or less join your tour coach at our interchange area at Beaconsfield Services on the M40, junction 2.

A number of pick up points are available in both departure areas – please see shaded area above and click here for all specific pick up points available in departures areas A and B.

You have the opportunity to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach at the interchange. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services, Mystery Tours, Lucky Dip Holidays and Channel Islands Holidays or on river cruise excursions operated by CroisiEurope. In most cases on standard coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.

If you want that bit of extra space or simply prefer a little more privacy, many of our tours now offer you the opportunity to reserve the seat next to you on the coach. This service will be strictly limited on each coach and subject to availability so we urge you to book early. Simply ask at the time of booking and secure your extra seat for just £75 per holiday.

Great news, our longer duration UK and Ireland holidays (7 days+), as well as all European coach holidays, river cruises and our new ocean cruise collection, now include a Door to Door Service. This means you can relax right from the very start of your holiday as our local taxi partners collect you from home and transfer you to your tour coach. On your return, you are safely returned to your doorstep.

With this service, it may be necessary to share your Door to Door vehicle with other passengers. The pick-up will be at the address of the lead name on the booking. We are only able to collect at ground-level locations.

Depending on where you live, and where you are travelling, it may be more convenient for you to join your coach holiday directly at your chosen resort, interchange area or seaport to avoid unnecessary travelling.

At all interchange areas there are baggage handlers on duty to handle your luggage, and interchange controllers on hand to help and advise you if you have any queries. Any hand luggage taken on-board our coaches are your own responsibility.

For security reasons you are responsible for your own luggage at airports, train stations and some seaports - although trolleys are usually available.
