YOUR CRUISE ITINERARY
DAY 1: We will collect you from home with our Door to Door Service before heading for our Channel crossing and onwards to join our ship in Remich.
DAY 2: This morning relax in the historic centre of Remich or perhaps take a stroll along the long promenade before we take an afternoon excursion to Luxembourg City, with time to explore at leisure before returning on board. This evening our ship begins to cruise towards Saarburg as we enjoy a night of entertainment on board as it reaches the River Saar.
DAY 3: This morning we head by coach to Trier for a morning to discover this historic city, dating from Roman times. The Porto Negra is a highlight to be seen. We re-join our ship in Trier and this afternoon glide along the River Moselle towards Beilstein where we moor overnight.
DAY 4: A short cruise this morning to reach Cochem where the delights of this beautiful town can be enjoyed before lunch. This afternoon settle down on board as we cruise the meandering waters of the Moselle, passing shoreside vineyards and charming villages. We arrive in Koblenz late afternoon with the evening free to discover this popular town with its ancient centre.
DAY 5: A highlight today as we cruise the romantic Rhine Valley and pass through the spectacular Rhine Gorge. This is a region dotted with embattled castles and famous vineyards alongside quaint riverside villages. We reach the tourist centre of Rudesheim early afternoon, with plenty of time to explore the town and perhaps take-in a glass of wine in one of the many bars in the famous Drosselgasse. Late this evening we depart Rudesheim to cruise overnight towards Mannheim.
DAY 6: We arrive in Mannheim early this morning from where we board our coach and make our way to Heidelberg, where the old town is watched over by its majestic castle. It is also home to Germany’s oldest university. After discovering the city at leisure we re-join our ship in Heidelberg and cruise through the Necker Valley before rejoining the mighty Rhine. This evening enjoy a gala dinner on board as the ship makes its way towards Strasbourg.
DAY 7: We disembark this morning after breakfast and make our way back through France to Calais to take our Channel crossing back to the UK, before we safely return you to your doorstep.
