YOUR ITINERARY
MONDAY: You are collected from home with our door to door service, which transfers you to your tour coach. Soon you are on your way towards our Channel crossing and onwards to the Hotel Walram for four nights.
TUESDAY: A morning visit to the white village of Thorn. Once a miniature principality, nowadays Thorn attracts visitors with the allure of its cobbled streets, beautiful church and characteristic white houses. This afternoon enjoy time at leisure in Valkenburg.
WEDNESDAY: After breakfast we head to Maastricht, the capital of the Limburg region, where the River Meuse eases through the centre. We include a cruise on the river to enjoy the serene waters, together with free time to explore. On our return, we pause at the three countries viewpoint where Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands meet, offering a vista across the joining countries.
THURSDAY: Today we’re off to tour Germany’s handsome Eifel Mountains. Through verdant green woodlands and pretty hamlets, we make our way to the picture-postcard town of Monschau, characterised by its timeless half-timbered buildings and overlooked by a medieval castle. We return via the city of Aachen, situated close to the border and whose cathedral is one of the most famous monuments of Europe.
FRIDAY: We leave Valkenburg this morning and head to the Channel for our return crossing. From here we continue our return journey, complete with our door to door service back to your home address.
