The Wymondham Rotary Satellite Group celebrated a highly successful fundraising quiz evening on 8 May 2026, raising an impressive £1,200 in support of local charities and community causes.
The event was generously sponsored by Grand UK Holidays, whose headquarters are based nearby in Norwich. Renowned specialists in escorted coach holidays for more than 40 years, the company’s support helped make the evening a tremendous success.
The quiz was expertly hosted by Lyn Arnold, Travel Trade Manager at Grand UK Holidays, whose enthusiasm and humour kept teams entertained throughout the night.
Held in a lively and welcoming atmosphere, the fundraising event drew a fantastic turnout, with teams enjoying an evening of friendly competition, laughter, and community spirit. Participants tested their knowledge across a variety of quiz rounds while supporting worthy local causes.
The winning team, “Legally Built,” not only claimed first place but also chose to donate their £100 winners’ prize to Dementia Outreach, a local charity providing vital support to people living with dementia and their families. Members of the Rotary group expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended and helped organise the event. Special thanks were also extended to Grand UK Holidays for their generous sponsorship and continued community support.
