Grand UK Holidays are the experts when it comes to organising and running coach holidays, but a question that is often asked is ‘what is a coach holiday’? Well, we are here to answer that for you and explain exactly what it is we offer.
A coach holiday is classed as at least one night spent away from home that involves coach transport. There are two different types of coach holiday – one where you get an all-inclusive package, which includes your travel via coach, hotel and there’s normally excursions included too. They may be based in one location or have multiple locations, depending on where you’re heading and, the majority of Grand UK Holidays are on a half board basis, providing you with breakfast and dinner.
For example, our Eastbourne and the Sussex Coast holiday is based in Eastbourne, but has excursions to Hastings, Rye, Brighton, Beach Head and Alfriston.
The other type of coach holiday is less-inclusive and simply provides you with transport to and from your destination, not including accommodation or excursions.
