Experience the best that Wales has to offer

Rail Journeys

We also invite travellers to join us on an adventurous coach holiday and explore breath-taking scenery while on nostalgic railways through North Wales. The Ffestiniog Railway climbs over 700 feet from sea level into the mountains. Through tranquil pastures and magnificent forests, past lakes and waterfalls, and round horseshoe bends, all while clinging to the side of the mountain. Travel through spectacular Snowdonia to Llanberis on the Llanberis Lake Railway offering a more relaxed journey along the shore of Lake Padarn with splendid views of Snowdon.

Scenic Beauty

We also understand that a holiday to Wales isn't just about the destinations. We know that it's about the views too. That's why our specially curated coach tours take routes that take in the dramatic landscapes of Wales, you are never too far from a mountain or the sea. From the dark and craggy mountain ranges of the north to the more rural South Wales where the Industrial Revolution took hold.

Cultural Experiences

When it comes to leisure, our coach trips to Wales consist of exciting experiences. In fact, some of the coaches whisk guests away to the bustling city of Cardiff so they can explore the 2000 years of history at Cardiff Castle. Other tours, on the other hand, take guests to the Mumbles and Gower Peninsula, which is home to Britain's first "Area of Natural Beauty," complete with pristine beaches, historic sites, monuments, caves, castles, shipwrecks, and famous sites like Pennard Castle, Arthur's Stone, and Giants Grave burial chamber.

Coach Trips to Wales

With so much to see and do on a holiday to Wales, Grand UK Holidays specially creates coach tours designed to capture the best of Wales along with magnificent sights of rocky coastline, rich history and Celtic culture, we are committed to showcasing everything that makes this part of the UK such a great place for a coach holiday.
