Beaulieu, the home to the National Motor Museum, has recently been listed in the Top 10 Classic Car Destinations. Beaulieu, which hosts a variety of award winning classic car shows, is now an included venue in Britain’s Best Classic Destination in the Practical Classics magazine.
The shortlist consisted of 30 destinations and was whittled down to just 10 by magazine readers voting for their favourites. The winning venues will be visited by the editors of the magazine, on a round-Britain trip, as they travel to the top 10 destinations in their own classic cars.
Some stunning locations were shortlisted, including the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland, stretches of Cumbria and Northumberland with their rugged mountainous backdrops, along with some museums and historic sites.
The regal site in the New Forest makes for an idyllic location to have a photoshoot with your classic car and the National Motor Museum, which hosts over 250 classic cars, gives just another reason why it is a hub for enthusiasts up and down the country.
If you’ve never visited Beaulieu, there is plenty to see and do not only on location, but also in this beautiful part of the south coast. This holiday explores the best of the south coast as you visit not only Beaulieu, but also the Isle of Wight and Bournemouth.
You’ll enjoy a full day tour around the Isle of Wight, taking in the sights of Alum Bay, Shanklin and Sandown. The stop at Beaulieu Palace House and Estate is the show stopper for any car enthusiasts as you get to explore this stunning property with over 800 years of heritage.
The final day will be spent with some free-time in the beautiful seaside resort of Bournemouth, giving you the opportunity to explore some of the colourful gardens and sandy beaches. So, if you’re looking for a holiday that combines your passion for classic cars, with some stunning scenery and sightseeing excursions, then look no further.
