Antique Fairs You Should Visit in 2018

If you are a lover of antiques and collectables, we’ve put together a list of some of the best places to visit to find divine and unique items to add to your collection. We’ve also got some unbelievable yet true stories of people who have unexpectedly found treasures in their very own home – time to check the attic!

BADA Fair, London

The show has been running for over 25 years, displaying the finest art, jewellery and beautiful objects from 100 of the UK’s best dealers.

People travel from around the world to this fair to view the collections on offer and speak to these experts, all of whom are carefully vetted and chosen based on their knowledge, integrity and collection of antiques.

The week-long event takes place this year from March 14th – 20th.

Lincolnshire Antiques Home Show, Lincoln

Based at the Lincolnshire Showground, this fair is one of the largest in Europe with an unmissable one for collectors, designers, buyers and anyone with an interest in antiquities.

There is a vast array of items on display from fine art, jewellery and watches to traditional country furniture, sculptures and unique prints.

There are shows scheduled for throughout the year.

If you’re in Lincolnshire, you should plan a visit to Hemswell Antiques Centre, the largest of its kind in the UK. It’s home to a selection of dealers with a vast range of antiques and collectables.

Exchanging antiques

Bath Decorative Antiques Fair, Somerset

This fair has been running since 1989 has a vibrant mix of exhibitors from across Europe, including members from the Antiques Young Guns movement, who have introduced a new generation to antiques with a more modern design.

This show runs from 9th – 11th March.

Newark Collectors Fair, Nottinghamshire

This is the biggest Antiques fair in Europe, so famous it was featured in the book “1000 Places to see Before You Die”! Held at Newark & Nottinghamshire Showground this is a treasure trove, filled with unique items, attracting 2,500 stands and buyers from around the globe.

The fair runs on multiple dates throughout the year.
