4 Nights Half Board

This elegant 1930’s hotel stands proudly on Skegness North Parade promenade, a level walk to all amenities.

Skegness is a seaside town on Lincolnshire’s golden coast. The town is popularly known as Skeggy, and has a famous mascot - the Jolly Fisherman - designed by John Hassall in 1908 for the Great Northern Railway. Today the resort has an award winning sandy beach, level promenade and great attractions. Out and about the pretty Lincolnshire Wolds are just a short drive away along with the city of Lincoln with its dominant cathedral.

Out and About

Beach - Skegness's award-winning sandy beach is long and wide with numerous activities.

Skegness Pier - Famous landmark with coastal views, an amusement arcade, ice cream and bowling.

Gibraltar Point – Nature reserve with a 3-mile stretch of unspoilt dunes, marshes and lagoons, plus a visitor centre.

Aviation Heritage Centre - The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is the only Airfield Museum in the country recreated to its original design, sited on an original WW2 airfield. You get the atmosphere of what it would have been like during the war along with it being home to the Avro Lancaster Bomber NX611 Just Jane, which frequently performs four engine taxi runs (the only place in the world you can see this performed on an original airfield).  You can even get a ride in the Lancaster!

Lincoln - Lincoln is known for the medieval Lincoln Cathedral, with early printed books in a Wren-designed library. Lincoln Castle houses a Victorian prison and a copy of the Magna Carta. The Museum of Lincolnshire Life has social history exhibits in Victorian barracks. The Collection is a museum displaying local archaeology. Nearby, the Usher Gallery has works by Turner and Lowry.

The Humber Bridge - The Humber Bridge is a 2,220-metre single-span suspension bridge, which opened to traffic on 24 June 1981. It spans the Humber, (the estuary formed by the rivers Trent and Ouse), between Barton-upon-Humber on the south bank and Hessle on the north bank, thereby connecting the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. The bridge can be seen for miles around and from as far as Patrington in the East Riding of Yorkshire and out to sea miles off the East Yorkshire coast. It is a Grade I listed building.

The Lincolnshire Wolds - The Lincolnshire Wolds is a range of hills designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the highest area of land in eastern England between Yorkshire and Kent.
