Self-drive - Llandudno - Evans Hotel

Evans Hotel

4 & 7 Nights Half Board

The welcoming Evans Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Llandudno, beside the main shopping streets and just a short stroll to the seafront.

Llandudno is a coastal town in north Wales known as The Queen of Welsh Resorts. It’s known for North Shore Beach and 19th-century Llandudno Pier complete with shops and a games arcade. Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea. Ancient tunnels lead to a cavern at Great Orme Mines. A 1902 tramway has an upper and lower section, and travels to the headland’s summit. To the east, smaller headland Little Orme is a nature reserve.

Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in the Conwy County borough of North Wales. The towns name is derived from the patron Saint Tudno. The town developed from early farming settlements on the limestone headlands. By 1847 it had grown and the majority worked in the copper mines, fishing or farming industries. Plans to develop Llandudno into a holiday resort were pursued by Lord Mostyn in 1848 and with the branch railway opened in 1858 it become a Victorian holiday resort.
