In recent weeks, there's been some interesting news stories discussing the most beautiful countries in the world and, more recently, the happiest city in the UK! Well, it just so happens that the happiest place in the UK isn't a million miles away from number 4 in our Top 5 UK Coach Holiday destinations.
Dorset & Bournemouth
Sitting on the beautiful south coast of England, Dorset has miles of unspoilt countryside and plenty of golden beaches to get you exploring the great outdoors. It's a county that is filled to the brim with impressive attractions, piers, acres of gardens, woodland and history. From Lyndhurst to the New Forest, there's plenty to do in one of the premier holiday centres of the UK.
Bournemouth is well known for the 7 miles of glorious beach, Victorian architecture and the electric nightlife. It’s an easy-going seaside town with a bouncing town centre, museums, castles, galleries, crazy golf and hundreds of bars and restaurants that spark into life in the evening.
You may not have known that Bournemouth offers 2,000 acres of magnificent gardens and parks too. The Upper, Central and Lower gardens form the 3 parts of Bournemouth’s Gardens, famous for retaining its Victorian character.
You can walk 1.5 miles through these gardens, surrounded by pretty plants from around the world. The Listed Grade II gardens are a colourful, sensual attraction and during the summer months the Lower gardens host concerts and exhibitions.
