With centuries of history in commerce and shipping, today there are many historic monuments to explore and a replica of a medieval merchant ship.
Day 4: We continue cruising along the IJssel today to reach Deventer, where the old town is worth exploring including the great Church Square and gothic St. Lebuinus Church, or perhaps enjoy a riverside stroll passing many fine former merchant houses.
