FULL DAY: Into the Peak District for a morning visit to stately Chatsworth House (admission included). Known as the 'Palace of the Peaks' the interior rooms are treasure troves of splendid furniture and magnificent paintings, whilst the gardens are some of the finest in England. This afternoon to the village of Castleton in the Hope Valley where Blue John stone is a favourite souvenir from the many renowned caverns.

FULL DAY: This morning we visit historic Chester and enjoy its unrivalled collection of Tudor buildings, housing the unique shopping galleries known as 'The Rows'. This afternoon we visit Lyme Park (admission included), nestling within sweeping moorland on the edge of the Peak District. Step back in time with lavish Edwardian interiors and the gardens of this magnificent estate are instantly recognisable as the backdrop to the film ‘Pride and Prejudice’.
