The Way We Were GOLD!

5 Day Holidays by Coach

Join us as we turn the clocks back a hundred or so years and remember how things used to be. At the award-winning, internationally acclaimed Beamish Open Air Museum streets, shops and homes recreate life at the turn of the century. We also tour the country that inspired the best-selling novels of Catherine Cookson and experience how the 'other half' lived at Cragside House, the first house in the world to have electricity.

Your Excursions

Enjoy also the magnificent gardens, lakes and unique Orchard House, which are set in over 900 acres.

FULL DAY: Today’s full day visit to Beamish Open Air Museum is a truly unforgettable experience (admission included). Ride on the trams, visit the shops, and walk into houses - all faithfully recreating life at the turn of the century.
