Q. Can I check the availability of my chosen holiday online?

A. Yes, you can check the availability of any holiday on our website by using the ‘Holiday Search’ button on the top tool bar. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Choose the type of holiday that you are interested in or leave it to show all holiday types.
  2. Choose your preferred holiday location or leave it to show all locations
  3. Choose your preferred departure date or leave it to show all available departures.
  4. Choose the maximum price that you wish to pay or leave it to show all holidays regardless of price
  5. Select the number of people wanting to travel on the holiday
  6. Enter in any keywords that may help your search, for example: Ireland
  7. Click on the find button
You will then be presented with a results page, listing all of the holidays available which match your search criteria.

Q. Can I book my holiday online? Is it safe and secure?

A. You can book a coach holiday or river cruise online using our simple booking procedure which is completely safe and secure. Just work through the step by step process to book your holiday – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Please note that ocean cruises, holidays by air and self drive breaks can be booked by calling our friendly reservations team on 01603 619933.

Q. I am under the age of 55 - can I still holiday with Grand UK?

A. To qualify for a Grand UK holiday either you, or your travelling companion, must be over the age of 55 at the time of travel.

Q. What happens once I have booked?

A. When you have completed your booking and payment has been accepted, you will have the option to print out your booking details and you will receive an email confirmation. In addition to this we will also send you a holiday confirmation invoice in the post within 3 weeks of receipt of your booking.

Q. When do I need to pay the balance of my holiday?

A. Your holiday confirmation invoice will clearly show the balance due and the latest date by which payment must be made. No reminders will be sent so please keep the invoice safe and make a special note of when the balance is to be paid.

Q. Do I need travel insurance?

A. It is a condition of booking a Grand UK holiday that you are adequately insured, either with ourselves or another insurance provider. Should you decide to insure elsewhere you must supply details of this alternative insurance at the time of confirming your booking. Please note that if you decide to take out our own insurance on mainland coach holidays, we will give you the money back in Holiday Vouchers, redeemable on future Grand UK holidays.

Q. Is there a limit on how much luggage I can take?

A. Due to the overall weight and space restrictions on vehicles, luggage is limited to one medium size suitcase per person. Luggage on aircraft or other carriers is subject to the carrier’s terms and conditions, a copy of which can be sent to you on request.

Q. How do I let you know about my special requirements?

A. When you are making your booking online, there is an option for you to note any special requirements that you may have. Whilst we make every effort to meet your requirements, they are not guaranteed.
