Friday From your local pick-up point we head towards the West Country and the Roman city of Bath where there will be time to explore before making our way to Torquay and the Hotel Richmond in time for evening dinner.

Saturday A day of contrasts as we head for Newton Abbot where it is market day. Wander through the old Butter Market Building or just enjoy the outdoor market in the town square. In the afternoon we visit the wild expanse of Dartmoor, before arriving at Widdecombe-in-the-Moor.

Sunday After a fond farewell we leave Torquay and head for the Mendip Hills and visit the country's smallest city, Wells before driving through magnificent Cheddar Gorge on our back home.

Hotel Richmond - Torquay OUR HOTEL IN Torquay is situated about ten minutes downhill walk, mainly via private path, to the seafront. There is a sheltered garden, a sun terrace, and an indoor heated swimming pool, together with a games room, and a purpose-built venue for Skittles and Short Mat Bowls.
