Lying on a sandy bay between the giant headlands of the Great and Little Orme and with
Snowdonia towering in the background, Llandudno is without doubt the ‘Queen of Welsh
Resorts’. The town abounds with all the fun and entertainment of a traditional seaside
holiday with attractions by the score. With such outstanding scenery on the doorstep, our
included excursions are particularly spectacular!

The south-western coast of Wales is one of the least explored, but most unspoilt, parts
of Britain. Known as ‘Little England beyond Wales’, it hosts some of the finest beaches
and lovely rolling countryside imaginable. Further round the coast, the Gower Peninsula
captivates all who visit it, and was the first place in Britain to be designated an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty.

5 & 8 Day Holidays by Coach
Situated seven hundred feet above sea level and surrounded by some of the most
beautiful scenery in Wales, Llandrindod Wells is one of Britain’s hidden treasures. It was
the Victorians who developed the town into one of the most fashionable Spa towns in
Britain, and you can still visit the Pump Room where it was once possible to take the
mineral rich waters. Temple Gardens is the perfect place to relax and watch the world go
by, whilst for the more energetic there is a purpose-built indoor bowling centre nearby.

For a quick pick-me-up, you just can’t beat our great value Weekend Getaways. Enjoy two nights accommodation - complete with delicious four course evening dinners and hearty English breakfasts - plus an evening of entertainment, return coach travel and a full day sightseeing excursion.

Welcome to wonderful Wales! Our special tour allows you to enjoy some of the
principality’s most beautiful and unspoilt countryside during the day, including an
unfortgettable steam train journey through the mountains, whilst enjoying specially
presented ‘Taste of Wales’ menu’s in the evenings, with themed entertainment to follow.
It all adds up to a mouthwatering combination for a really different short break.

In the heart of rural Mid Wales, Llandrindod Wells is quite a surprise. Hardly Welsh in
character, it developed into a Victorian spa town in the mid 19th century, with rather opulent
buildings, new hotels, parks and lakes. An attraction is the restored Pump Room in the
Rock Park, where there is a small health centre. The sedate Victorian atmosphere has been
preserved and because of its central location, it is an excellent base from which to tour
the scenic countryside. As an added bonus this holiday includes a special Welsh Night too!
|
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is the first botanic garden to be created in nearly 200
years, and it forms the focal point of this excellent gardens tour. Our packed itinerary also
features four more gardens too, from historic Singleton Park, with its own botanical gardens,
to the Museum of Welsh Life which offers a unique insight into social history through its
fascinating garden displays.
